Military service members look on as the unidentified remains of a fallen American service member returns to U.S. soil during the Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command arrival ceremony Dec. 9, at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. Arrival ceremonies are held in honor of the sacrifices made by the individuals whose remains were recovered during JPAC recovery missions.
