A U.S. Army Solider assigned to Task Force Pioneer, 3rd Cavalry Regiment, fires an AK-47 rifle during a base defense exercise with Iraqi partners in Southwest Asia, Nov. 17, 2018. The 3rd Cav. Regt. is deployed in support of Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve, working by, with and through the Iraqi Security Forces and Coalition partners to defeat ISIS in designated areas of Iraq and Syria.
