U.S. Army Pacific Commanding General, Gen. Robert Brown welcomes U.S. Ambassador to Japan, Ambassador William Hagerty, to Camp Higashi-Chitose, Hokkaido, Japan, Dec 12, 2018, during Yama Sakura 75. Hagerty toured the camp and spoke about the significance of the alliance between America and Japan. Yama Sakura is a bilateral training exercise that strengthens the relationship between the U.S. Army and the Japan Ground Self Defense Force through the exchange of ideas, tactics and techniques.
