Soldiers assigned to Battery C, 2nd Battalion, 77th Field Artillery Regiment, 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, render a salute before conducting a 50-gun salute honoring the passing of former U.S. President George H.W. Bush, at Founders Field, Fort Carson, Colorado, Dec. 6, 2018. Immediately following retreat, Bty. C, 2-77 FAR fired one blank round every five seconds for each of the 50 states.
