    Soldiers of the 3rd Infantry Division perform a fireman carry during the Functional Fitness Challenge as part of this year's Marne Week, Fort Stewart, Ga., Dec. 6, 2018.

    Every year, 3rd ID celebrates Marne Week in order to recognize the achievements of Dogface leaders, Soldiers and Families. This year, the Marne Division celebrated the 100th anniversary of the Battle of the Marne – the historic World War I battle where the division adopted their moniker of the ‘The Rock of the Marne.’
