181205-N-DA737-0037 SEATTLE (Dec. 5, 2018) Fire Controlman 1st Class Nicholas Besheer shakes hands with Dave Bennet, a Washington State Ferries (WSF) employee, whose life he saved during the previous month. Besheer received the Life Ring Award from WSF for his life-saving actions by performing CPR and using an automated external defibrillator on Bennet who was suffering from cardiac arrest.
