U.S. Army Sgt. 1st Class Wesley Bevel, assigned to the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, his wife Jessica, and their children Olivia, Xander, Bentley, Wyatt, Gannon and Madilynn, are named the 2018 Family of the Year award from Maj. Gen. Brian McKiernan, the deputy commanding general, XVIII Airborne Corps and Fort Bragg, at the Main Post Chapel on Fort Bragg, North Carolina, Nov. 29, 2018. The Family of the Year award is presented to one family each year for their dedication and commitment, resiliency during adversity, and going above and beyond to help those in need.
