Spurs to be presented to candidates rest on a table prior to a Spur Ceremony Wednesday, November 28th on Fort Bragg. Candidates from across the 82nd Airborne Division were participating in a Spur Ride honoring the heritage of the 73rd Cavalry Regiment by testing the candidates’ grit and determination over a 36-hour period where they were evaluated on their knowledge of regimental history, tactics, medical skills and airborne proficiency.
