A Vietnamese delegation of military members focusing on search and rescue tours visits with the Oregon National Guard’s Civil Support Team, June 9, 2011. with Lt. Gen. Tran Quang Khue, Vice Chairman of Vietnam National Committee for Search and Rescue and Deputy Chief of the General Staff, People’s Army of Vietnam and his staff are part of a historic visit to Oregon. The Vietnamese delegation will also visit National Guard Bureau, Washington D.C. and Pacific Command Headquarters in Hawaii. This mission will assist the Vietnamese to make an informed decision about requesting participation in the State Partnership Program.
