Oregon’s Chief Justice, Paul J. De Muniz, meets with Lt. Gen. Tran Quang Khue, Vice Chairman of Vietnam National Committee for Search and Rescue and Deputy Chief of the General Staff, People’s Army of Vietnam, Friday, June 10, 2011 in Salem, Ore. Khue is part of a historic visit to Oregon. The Vietnamese delegation will also visit National Guard Bureau, Washington D.C. and Pacific Command Headquarters in Hawaii. This mission will assist the Vietnamese to make an informed decision about requesting participation in the State Partnership Program.
