A military medical armored vehicle, identifiable by the prominent red cross markings on its side and rear, is parked on a grass field near a perimeter fence. A soldier in camouflage uniform stands behind the vehicle with one arm raised, likely directing or signaling. The setting appears to be a military installation or training area during overcast conditions.

During Dragoon Ready at the Joint Multinational Readiness Center in Hohenfels, Germany, the 3rd Squadron, 2d Cavalry Regiment medical platoon conducts rehearsals by assembling the Role 1 medical tent, both day and night, and in full body armor. While the medical platoon is setting up the Role 1, they can still conduct “tailgate medicine” by utilizing the medical evacuation vehicle. The Role I is a continuously mobile medical treatment facility, capable of moving at a moment's notice to facilitate the commander's maneuver plan. (U.S. Army photo by 1st Lt.
