Airman 1st Class Eric Tarpley, 96th Maintenance Squadron, uses a force press to evaluate the accuracy of an aircraft scale Oct. 30 at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. Tarpley is a member of the Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory. The four-sectioned lab is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of thousands of pieces of equipment from various units across the base.
