Senior Airman Ronique Waite, Role 3 apheresis element technician, writes down test results from a blood test at Role 3 Oct. 8, 2011. Waite and his fellow technicians operate the sophisticated blood separating machine, the Haemonetics Plus 900, in order to extract the platelets from the blood. Waite is deployed from Joint Base San Antonio and is a St. Petersburg, Fla., native.
