PANAMA CITY, Florida - Commander, Naval Surface Warfare Center Rear Adm. Tom Anderson and Warfare Center Executive Director Don McCormack present the Navy Meritorious Civilian Service Award to the of the self-proclaimed “North Lagoon Navy” volunteer group Nov. 15, 2018 in recognition of their heroic actions in support of Hurricane Michael recovery efforts in Panama City, Florida. The group demonstrated exemplary dedication and compassion while successfully providing recovery assistance to more than 155 families, performed wellness checks for over 220 people, and delivered countless supplies to those in need. Award recipients are as follows: Andrew Schicho, Jonathan Davis, Patrick Delay, Dustin Bride, Evan Sarantos, Jeremy Croom, Sarah Bride, Jeff Barr, Mike Conn, Mike Overend, Kyle Reinhardt, Matt Guidry, Brian Sharp, Alesia Hance, Dr. Greg Murphy.
