PACIFIC OCEAN (Oct. 25, 2018) Cryptologic Technician (Technical) 3rd Class Johncole Mcardle, from Madison, Connecticut, loosens a screw to remove a panel while performing maintenance on a MK-53 Electronic Decoy System aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Spruance (DDG 111). Spruance is currently conducting routine operations as part of Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 3 in the U.S. 3rd Fleet area of operations.
