PACIFIC OCEAN (Oct. 21, 2018) Boatswains Mate 3rd Class Brandon Ross, from Honeapath, South Carolina, observes Seaman Andrew Simpson, from Lafayette, Tennessee, as he cuts stoppers on the span wire at a fuel station aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Spruance (DDG 111) during a replenishment-at-sea with the Military Sealift Command (MSC) fleet replenishment oiler USNS Guadalupe (T-AO 200). Spruance is currently conducting routine operations as part of Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 3 in the U.S. 3rd Fleet area of operations.
