Paratroopers assigned to D Company, 2nd Battalion, 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division, talk to an Iraqi soldier on a highway in Baghdad on Nov. 18. Paratroopers with D Company are responsible for securing the route for convoys traveling south to Kuwait. The 2nd Brigade is the last brigade in Baghdad and continues to partner with Iraqi Security Forces to facilitate the withdrawal of U.S. military forces from Iraq.
