181111-N-MC499-0005 NORFOLK (Nov. 11, 2018) Boatswain's Mate 3rd Class Randy Reese strikes a bell during a bell-ringing ceremony in the well deck of the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3) as part of a fleet wide commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the signing of the armistice that ended hostilities in WWI. Every command and unit in the Department of the Navy tolled 21 bells at 11 a.m. in remembrance of those who served and sacrificed in the Great War.
