Maj. Gen. John Gronski places a wreath at the grave of Medal of Honor recipient Sgt. James Mestrovich Nov. 1 at St. John Serbian Orthodox Church, Durasevici, Montenegro. Mestrovich was born in the village, immigrated to the U.S. immediately before WWI and served with distinction in the 28th Division, which Gronski formerly commanded.
