Kevin Mortenson, President of the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the National
Defense Industrial Association (left), presents the Patriot Award to Staff
Sgt. Megan Richards of Headquarters, Air Force Space Command (right) in
Colorado Springs, Colorado, Nov. 2, 2018. The Patriot Award recognizes
outstanding service members from all branches of the military serving in the
Colorado Springs area. Richards was selected for her achievements as
non-commissioned officer in charge of Special Programs Administration for
the AFSPC Directorate of Plans, Programs and Financial Management and her
community service with Veterans Stand Down and Care and Share Food Pantry.
