Two Soldiers attached to 2nd Squadron, 1st Cavalry Regiment, walk en-route to a house on the outskirts of Baqubah, Iraq, to give medical attention to a baby June 23. Soldiers of 2-1 Cavalry, 4th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, Fort Lewis, Wash., have sealed off Baqubah as their sister Stryker Brigade, 3rd Battalion, 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, also from Fort Lewis, Wash., continues to clear the city of Baqubah in a major offensive known as Arrowhead Ripper, launched on the city and its outskirts on June 18. Arrowhead Ripper aims to kill or capture all insurgents in Baqubah by sealing off the city and any avenues of escape. Meanwhile, Soldiers with 4th Battalion, 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team are meeting with village leaders and rendering medical aid to people in the outlying villages.
