PACIFIC OCEAN (Oct. 26, 2018) The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Spruance (DDG 111) pulls alongside the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74) to conduct a refueling-at-sea. Spruance and John C. Stennis are currently conducting routine operations as part of Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 3 in the U.S. 3rd Fleet area of operations.
