NORWEGIAN SEA (Oct. 31, 2018) The Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) steams along-side a Royal Norwegian Navy Skjold-Class fast patrol boat HNOMS Storm (P961) in the Alvund Fjord, Oct. 31, 2018. Iwo Jima is currently underway participating in Trident Juncture 2018, which is a NATO-led exercise designed to certify NATO response forces and develop interoperability among participating NATO Allied and partner nations.
