    His Swedish Majesty’s Ship KARLSTAD sails in The Trondheim Fjord during Exercise TRIDENT JUNCTURE on October 26, 2018.

    With around 50,000 personnel participating in Trident Juncture 2018, it is one of the largest NATO exercises in recent years. Around 250 aircraft, 65 vessels and more than 10,000 vehicles are involved in the exercise in Norway.

    Two stealth military corvettes are navigating at high speed across open water, generating significant bow spray and wake. The vessels feature distinctive angular, faceted hulls and superstructures characteristic of radar-cross-section reduction design, consistent with Swedish Navy Visby-class corvettes. A mountainous coastline is visible in the background under hazy atmospheric conditions.
    Two stealth corvettes with distinctive angular, low-observable hull designs are operating at high speed on a fjord or large body of water. The vessels are generating significant bow waves and spray, suggesting they are traveling at considerable velocity. A forested mountain range is visible in the background, consistent with Scandinavian geography.
