Seaman Tyler Schuchhardt, a member of Coast Guard Aids to Navigation Team Coos Bay, wears the required personal protective equipment required while he serviced a range in Ore., Oct. 24, 2018.
For the low water temperature he wore a type V anti-exposure coverall flotation garment, to climb the aid he wore the climbing harness, helmet, gloves and safety glasses, and for the excessive amounts of bird guano and presence of bird carcasses, he wore a respirator to limit his exposure to possible contamination.
