181026-N-WH681-0020 ATLANTIC OCEAN (Oct. 26, 2018) Fireman Apprentice Issac Swegan moves a fuel stripping pipe in the aft main machinery room of the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3) during the Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 4 composite training unit exercise (COMPTUEX). COMPTUEX is the final pre-deployment exercise that certifies the combined Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group's and 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit's abilities to conduct military operations at sea and project power ashore through joint planning and execution of challenging and realistic training scenarios. CSG 4 mentors, trains and assesses East Coast units preparing for future deployments. (U.S. Navy photo by Mass Communication Specialist 3rd Class Kaitlyn E. Eads/Released)
