The Marine Corps Marathon (MCM) hosts a ceremony and Health and Fitness Expo to open the 43rd annual marathon at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in Oxon Hill, Md., Oct. 26, 2018. Also known as "The People's Marathon," the 26.2 mile race drew participants from around the world to promote physical fitness, generate goodwill in the community, and showcase the organizational skills of the Marine Corps.
