SAN DIEIGO (Oct. 25,2018) Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class John Mccorkle, a Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD) simulation Lab Tech, shows students from Castle Park Middle School how to put a tourniquet on a simulation man at the Innovation Zone during San Diego Fleet Week. San Diego Fleet Week is an opportunity for the American public to meet their Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard teams and experience America's sea services. During fleet week, service members participate in various community service events, showcase capabilities and equipment to the community, and enjoy the hospitality of San Diego and its surrounding areas.
