Members of the official party renders a salute to the color guard as it "parades the Colors" during a change of command ceremony. The ceremony marked the official change in leadership from Capt. Robert Fahey to Capt. John Heckmann. Fahey was the first Navy officer to take command as Commander, Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa (CJTF-HOA) in July of 2006, supervising the transition of the base from a Marine Corps expeditionary base to a Navy camp.
