More than 300 Dyess children of all ages participated in a mock deployment known as Operation Dyess Kids at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas, Oct. 20, 2018. After going through the deployment processing line and receiving a pre-deployment brief, the children were able to celebrate their ‘return’ from the mock deployment with cake and other treats.
