(Oct. 23, 2018) A recruit reels in a hose after performing fire fighting and damage control techniques inside USS Chief Fire Fighter Trainer as part of the hands-on learning at Recruit Training Command (RTC). The curriculum at RTC tests recruits on their war-fighting skills before they reach the fleet. More than 30,000 recruits graduate annually from the Navy's only boot camp.
