A U.S. Marine Corps MV-22 Osprey, assigned to the 'Flying Tigers' of Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 262 reinforced, approaches the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1) in the East China Sea October 21, 2018. The Wasp, flagship of Wasp Amphibious Ready Group, with embarked 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, is operating in the Indo-Pacific region to enhance interoperability with partners and serve as a ready-response force for any type of contingency.
