Petty Officer 3rd Class Naaman Barrows (Superman costume), aviation boatswain’s mate, U.S. Navy Customs and West Springfield, Mass. native, finishes the Run for Your Life Halloween 5K here Oct. 31. Barrows chose his costume in honor of his younger sister who often calls him Superman. By holding morale building events such as the Run for Your Life Halloween 5K, haunted house, and costume contest, Third Army is shaping the future by promoting high morale among deployed service members.
