Sgt. Bekzod Alimbekov scans the perimeter of Combat Outpost Margah in eastern Paktika province, Afghanistan, with a remote turret. On Oct. 15, Alimbekov and Pfc. Jorge Garcia, both of Company C, 2nd Battalion, 28th Infantry Regiment, 172nd Infantry Brigade were awarded the Army Commendation Medal with Valor Device for stopping a car bomb Oct. 7 during a complex attack against the remote outpost.
