    Lance Cpl. Michael J. Kirkpatrick organizes his gear display before being inspected by his battalion’s commanding officer and sergeant major. Kirkpatrick, a bulk fuel specialist with 9th Engineer Support Battalion, 3 rd Marine Logistics Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force, along with other members of the battalion were inspected to verify everyone’s equipment was accounted for before the battalion deploys to Afghanistan.
