Spc. Stephen Elum, a generator mechanic with America’s First Corps Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion, troubleshoots a generator during Warfighter Exercise 19-1, a tactical command post exercise that was held from October 2-10, 2018 on Joint Base Lewis-McChord. Elum expertise as a generator mechanic plays a key role in maintaining the generator systems that provide power during training exercises and deployment operations, which allows I Corps to be able to deploy anywhere in the world and be self sufficient.
