    U.S. Air Force personnel Tech. Sgt. Yayee Thayer (left) works with Capt. Capt. Jennifer Lewis (center) and Senior Airman Benjamin Pace double checking medical supplies for a humanitarian assistance mission evacuating 26 injured freedom fighters from Tripoli. Thayer and Pace are team members from the 86th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron based at Ramstein Air Base, Germany. The two aircraft will transport 26 seriously wounded fighters to Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Boston. An additional four critical cases will be transferred to Germany for immediate care. All patients were injured as a result of recent fighting and suffer from conditions that cannot currently be treated in Libya.
