U.S. Coast Guard, Royal Canadian Air Force conduct joint search and rescue training north of Washington [Image 3 of 6]
An aviation survival technician from U.S. Coast Guard Air Station/Sector Field Office Port Angeles is suspended by the crew of a Royal Canadian Air Force CH-149 Cormorant helicopter during joint training in the Strait of Juan de Fuca, Wash., Oct. 3, 2018.
The cormorant is one of two primary rotary-wing aircraft used by the RCAF for search and rescue responses.
