    U.S. Marines Conduct Hot Loading and Refueling with F-35B Lightning II Aircraft

    U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Stephen Cushing, a KC-130J Hercules aircraft crew chief with Marine Aerial Refueler Transport (VMGR) 152, Marine Aircraft Group 12, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, conducts a hot fueling and reloading of weapons during Weapons and Tactics Instructor (WTI) course 1-19 at Laguna Army Air Field, Yuma, Arizona, Sept. 19, 2018. WTI is a seven-week training event hosted by Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron One (MAWTS-1), which emphasizes operational integration of the six functions of Marine Corps aviation in support of a Marine air-ground task force. WTI provides standardized advanced tactical training and certification of unit instructor qualifications to support Marine aviation training and readiness, and assists in developing and employing aviation weapons and tactics.
