U.S. Marines with 1st Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, provide reconnaissance to the on-scene commander from their roof-top position during a Non-combatant Evacuation Operation drill at Marine Corps Air-Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, Calif., Oct. 5th, 2018. Marines departed from Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Ariz., using various aircraft to provide support for an embassy reinforcement drill at Twentynine Palms. This year, Marines and Sailors with the Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force Crisis Response-Central Command 19.1 served as the command element for the Weapons and Tactics Instructors course.
