Recruits with Echo Company, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, conduct warm-up exercises before a Marine Corps Martial Arts Program training session at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Oct. 1. Physical training is utilized to strengthen the body and develop a strong character embodying our core values through teamwork. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited form the Western Recruiting Region are trained aboard MCRD San Diego. Echo Company is scheduled to graduate Dec. 14.
