Shayne McKeever, 824th Quartermaster Company Detachment 10 Rigger, pack cases of water onto a pallet, Oct. 14. Army Riggers pack pallets of supplies for air-drop to forward operating bases across the Area of Responsibility. The Riggers accept volunteers to help them pack the pallets with food, water, fuel or other supplies that may be needed. Stuursma, a native of Tinley Park, Ill., is deployed from McConnell Air Force Base, Kan. McKeever, a native of Elizabethtown, Ky., is deployed from the U.S. Army Reserve’s 861st Quartermaster Company in Nashville, Tenn.
