NSA Panama City, Tyndall Air Force Base and Bay District Schools, collectively known as the Bay Area Education Alliance, recieved the 2018 Pete Taylor Exemplary Community Partnership Award for their work with Bay Haven Charter Academy, during a school board meeting held Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2018. Recieving the award are Ms. Ginger Littleton, Bay County School Board Chair; Cmdr. Jay Sego, commanding officer NSA Panama City; and Dr. William Husfelt, Superintendent of Bay County Schools. The Pete Taylor Partnership of Excellence Awards were established in 2004 by the Military Child Education Coalition (MCEC) board of directors to honor Lt. Gen. H.G. It promotes and applauds the critical role the school-military partnerships play to foster the sharing of lessons learned and to recognize that "goodness starts at the local level."
