A 500 lb bomb explode on the ridge-line outside of Combat Outpost Monti after receiving indirect fire from insurgents during Bronco Over Watch Operation at Combat Outpost Monti in the Shaw Valley, Asmar district, Kunar province, Afghanistan, Oct. 15, 2011. The bomb drop is part of BOW Operation, which is enabling TF Monti, 2-27, 25th Infantry Division, Task Force Bronco, to set up an over watch position, and to ensure the freedom of supply movements going through route California.
