Maritime leaders from the “Five Eyes” alliance – the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and New Zealand – discuss interoperability and combat effectiveness during the 2018 Maritime Warfare Working Group (MWWG) at Naval Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center’s (SMWDC) Headquarters. The MWWG is an annual event of the Five Eyes alliance, which will be hosted by Australia in 2019. SMWDC is one of the Navy's five Warfighting Development Centers and its mission is to increase the lethality and tactical proficiency of the Surface Force across all domains.
