147th Civil Engineering Squadron members began their Silver Flag training exercise Sept. 12, 2018, hosted by the 435th Construction and Training Squadron at Ramstein Air Base, Germany. Silver flag is a vital training exercise that allows military members to practice bare base bed down, bomb-damaged runway repair, disposing of explosive ordnances, and other tasks during simulated wartime operations.
