    24th Theater Public Affairs Support Element

    Capt. Katherine Hathaway, the Company Commander for D Troop, 1st Squadron, 7th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division from Fort Hood, Texas, checks operational points on map of the training area for the upcoming training mission at the Lest Military Training Area in Lest, Slovakia, Sept. 21.

    This training event involves the U.S. Army and the Slovakian Army and consists of company level tactics, and force on force training to challenge the teams.

    This mission is part of NATO operations in support of USAREUR's larger mission, Operation Atlantic Resolve.
