The Defense Supply Center Columbus concluded a month-long food drive, collecting 9,143 pounds of goods that will go on to support more than 525,000 individuals in Central Ohio. The goods were donated to a local food bank Sept. 18. The food drive was part of an annual summer event, Feds Feed Families. Associates donated many critical food items needed including peanut butter, soups containing vegetables, tuna, chili with beans and canned meat, vegetables and fruit as well as critical non-food items such as diapers, personal hygiene items and pet food.
