Senior Airman Ronique Waite, Role 3 apheresis element technician, tests blood samples to determine the blood type at Role 3 Oct. 8, 2011. Waite and his fellow technicians test blood every day to ensure potential donors are prescreened prior to donating. Waite is deployed from Joint Base San Antonio and a St. Petersburg, Fla., native.
