Soldiers from the 10th Army Air and Missile Defense Command participate in a staff ride at Fort Douaumont outside the city of Verdun, France September 12. The event culminated with a wreath-laying ceremony honoring the 100-year anniversary of the Meuse-Argonne Offensive. The fort was the largest and highest fort on the ring of 19 large defensive works protecting the city of Verdun.
